About Us

Alpha Pet Solutions is owned and managed by Jakki Roberts, a 40+ year resident of Jacksonville. After retiring from Corporate America in 1999, she embarked on a 2nd “fun” career as a professional pet sitter and dog walker. Jakki was awarded Best of 2007 Pet Sitter of NE Florida by the Jacksonville Magazine. Her volunteer activities include: First Coast More Homeless Pets, Friends of Collies and Shelties Rescue and is currently a board member of Friends of Paws Park, Jacksonville Beach.

Since 2000, we have cared for a host of treasured pets: puppies, adult dogs; kittens, adult cats; birds (parakeets, finches, cockatoos, cockatiels, conures, macaws, African grays, Senegal Amazon parrots); ferrets; bunnies; gerbils; guinea pigs; hamsters + salt- and fresh-water fish. Our sitters and dog walkers are "hand-picked" because of their maturity and deeply-rooted passion for animals. They are owned by pets and therefore understand how important it is to give our clients' pets abundant love and the best care possible. Before joining our staff, sitters undergo a thorough interviewing process as well as background checks .
